Not saying that its a good or bad thing but it is important to recognise cause and effect. I won't be changing my price because it would mean i would have to do this for every product that goes out of stock and that would create rather more work than i am willing to undertake.Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16759790535227603968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5823067650205179305.post-24282752432654197852016-11-11T13:19:06.332+00:002016-11-11T13:19:06.332+00:00I spoke to you recently about the availability of ...I spoke to you recently about the availability of Formula D before Christmas 2016 after finding the game was out of stock but still advertised for £27.99.

You informed me it was unlikely to be back in stock by Christmas and even when it is available it is unlikely to be at the same price.

Now I can accept that financial markets can be widely affected by political activity (in this case The Bank of England influencing the value of the GB Pound Sterling and blaming Brexit) but if you Google for the game two results still state BoardGameGutu is still selling it at £27.99.

Perhaps this might stop if you remove the reduced price from the page and leave it blank until you know how much it will be?

Martin Underwoodnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5823067650205179305.post-45305518002960178952014-05-21T14:39:49.682+01:002014-05-21T14:39:49.682+01:00thanks for that :)thanks for that :)niksnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5823067650205179305.post-66760915732457131162013-08-31T13:12:31.294+01:002013-08-31T13:12:31.294+01:00Hmm interesting Paul. Another thing to remember is the tastes of your game group and the opportunity to play them; the chances are that game is going to gather dust. These days im more interested in having about 5 games that i can focus on and can explore, solid games. Somebody who has 400 games must mean they dont play them all or have a lot of free time :) Jon Simpson
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5823067650205179305.post-85919584295777777202013-07-24T14:23:20.062+01:002013-07-24T14:23:20.062+01:00Excellent advice Paul. Fantasy Flight seem to be another one who commission their own apps).

But it looks like most games publishers don't commission apps but just want to licence out the name - Carcassonne is a great example where the iOS and Android versions look they were licensed out separately, resulting in very different titles.

That said - a good App can easily cost six figures to develop, especially if you want good computer based opponents with different playing styles. It's going to sell for 4.99 tops. That's a very different business to board games.
JulesLthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04387310279928194787noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5823067650205179305.post-50569667287516136272013-02-11T10:01:08.920+00:002013-02-11T10:01:08.920+00:00Good information.Thank you for sharing.Good information.Thank you for sharing.Madhuhttp://www.classic-rummy.in/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5823067650205179305.post-6532019488942633022013-02-06T01:41:39.112+00:002013-02-06T01:41:39.112+00:00#22 essential!
